Important Notice
As some of you will have seen, ECB ACO and the MCC have combined forces to offer a great deal on the purchase on the newly redrafted and updated Tom Smiths.
For anyone who doesn’t know, it is 'the' definitive guide to the Laws, giving easy to understand and well illustrated explanations of Law 1 through to 42, a section on Scoring and the odd bit of savvy advice on Law 43!
The new edition will go on sale in the summer at £18.99, but if you can get an early copy, at a lower price, by ordering through the Warwickshire Cricket Umpires and Scorers Association. The cost will be £11.75 (and that is how much the Association is being charged).
If you would like a copy, please send a cheque for £11.75 payable to 'WCUSA' to John Jameson (with a note of your name if it isn't obvious who the book is for!) to
Mr J Jameson
1484 Warwick Road
Knowle
Solihull
West Midlands
B93 9LE
Closing date for this offer is Wednesday 4th May.
We will then order however many books we have cheques for.
No Cheque, No Book!
Once we have taken delivery, and to save with the admin (and cost) of postage, you can either collect your copy at the next available Monthly Meeting, or, I will arrange for John Jameson and John Bates to have copies, depending on where you live and you can make suitable arrangements direct with John and John to collect.
Don’t miss the boat, this is a bargain, and we have been told by ECB that you wont be able to get it cheaper from Amazon later.
Spread the word to friends and colleagues who may not have email.
Regards
Mark Gumbley
